We are nearing the final countdown to our move, and updates have been a little sparse here lately since so much has been happening. I started a new gig in Dallas which has me back on the planes, trains and automobiles, and an hour off of east coast time.

On the house front, Meghan and I did the final inspection with the builder last weekend, and the house looks great. Meghan has not visited since it was framed, so there have been many changes since her visit. We also did a whirlwind shopping mission, researching, selecting and purchasing a washer, dryer, refrigerator, bed and my favorite addition, a new grill. The movers come Thursday morning to pack us up and then I’ll blaze a trail down the east coast while Meghan flies down for a Friday morning close on the new house.

We’re very exciting and looking forward to starting our lives as homeowners, and having a yard, garage and some more space!

PatandMeg.com will be down for two or three days as our state-of-the-art data center (aka our closet) will be moved via our climate-controlled, air-ride equipped moving service (aka the trunk of my car). Assuming our network folks wired our new home properly, PatandMeg.com will be served up from the dirty south in the very near future!
