Wiley’s Got me Covered

Posted by on Thursday, 1 February 2007

Yesterday I received a copy of the proposed cover for my book, BreakthroughIT: Supercharging Organizational Value through Technology. The cover somehow makes the book seem all the more real, although I’ve penned a good 140+ manuscript pages it now has a face to the world, at least in draft format.

I was originally lukewarm on the cover but it has grown on my, and breaks the mold of the stereotypical business book with a large times font, clipart and a generic byline. Let me know what you think.

i dig it. i’m not familiar with typical business books – but i think this reflects the dynamic nature of the title – and i would imagine – the content.

Let’s hope so! Thanks for the comment… the only thing that slightly troubles me is the tilted text for the subtitle. I am also having a raging debate with my better half over whether “through” should be capitalized in title case. Any grammar experts want to comment?

i think the through should be lower case. but the book looks cool, and i’m pretty sure 99.5/100 people wouldn’t notice whether or not the through were capitalizerd. and even if they did, they would face the same moral conundrum we now impose upon ourselves…

Such are the great questions of life…
