Back to the Land of Bangers and Mash
Friday, 5 May 2006 08:27This week marks another return to Jolly Old England for yours truly, under the auspices of completing some workshops for my current client. I really am starting to believe that I unknowingly killed the proverbial albatross at some point, as I arrived on Tuesday and by Thursday the workshops were cancelled. The politics of corporate America/UK are always “interesting,” and all a sideline observer can do is shake one’s head and move on.
The worksite, while rather glamorous with beautiful, expansive grounds and a recently restored manor house is located out by Heathrow Airport, so weeknights are not exactly spent in a cultural mecca. For a change of pace, this weekend one of my colleagues and I are heading down to London town, in search of the bottom of a few pints. Spring has fully sprung over here, so all is green and thus far, rain free, so it should be a nice trip.
I have been quite lazy with updating the photo section, but assuming no sharks chew up the underwater internet cables between here and the States, I will try and update everything in the coming days. We have some nice shots from Cayman, and I also took a nice “head clearer” motorcycle ride last week that I’ll provide some further commentary about when updating the photos.

I am somewhat confused as to why one would go to the actual UK when there is a perfectly good UK in the EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow). It is the same, is it not? Let me know as I do not travel much.
EPCOT’s version of the UK does have one clear advantage over the real UK: Pam Brody!!!!
