Meghan doesn’t know it yet since she’s fast asleep, but a few minutes ago the Red Sox finally broke the curse! I’m not as huge a fan as some, but it’s great to see the sox finally beat the Yankees in post-season play. The last Red Sox hat I had as a kid was a 1986 AL Champions hat… I’m not buying one this year so I don’t jinx the Nation!
It must feel very special to win the AL Pennant every 18 years or so. Congratulations to the entire Nation Fan base; however the “CURSE” is not broken until the “Soxs” win a World Series. It is indeed a step in the right direction beating the Crap out of the Yankees for the first time in post season. Who knows, if the Cards get stacked tonight, Boston may be facing Old Man Roger in the “Series”.
I would have to respectfully disagree… The worst shelacking in baseball history either means the Sox have broken the curse, OR they’ve inflicted one on the Yankees
It’s a wait and see game. After 86 years, a week or so doesn’t matter. Lets wait and see if the CURSE is really broken. You know if the Curse is broken, then they have nothing to blame when they loose; so it is better to keep that “Curse” excuse in your back pocket till the end of the Series.
